About the Foundation

About Bodhivigyan Foundation

The Bodhivigyan Foundation is a non-profit organization established on 17th September 2025 in Patna, Bihar, under the leadership of Saurav Singh. The foundation envisions bridging the gap between people, nature, and progress through sustainable and inclusive initiatives.

It is driven by the belief that true development extends beyond infrastructure, focusing instead on nurturing harmony between human potential, environmental balance, and cultural heritage. Bodhivigyan is committed to creating impactful programs that empower communities, protect natural ecosystems, and preserve India's cultural identity.

The name "Bodhivigyan" comes from two Sanskrit words — "Bodhi," meaning wisdom and enlightenment, and "Vigyan," meaning science and knowledge. Together, they symbolize the harmony between spiritual understanding and scientific progress.

Bodhivigyan Foundation stands as a movement of awareness — where wisdom meets action, and compassion meets progress. It is not just an organization, but a promise to nurture humanity and nature in harmony.

Key Initiatives

Four integrated verticals working in harmony to create lasting change across Bihar and beyond.

Initiative 01 — Tourism & Rural Development

The First Project:
Bodhi Temple

At Bodhivigyan Foundation, we see tourism not just as travel, but as a bridge — bringing opportunities, awareness, and respect for local heritage.

Our first major initiative will take place in Banka District, Bihar, where the Foundation plans to build a 24-feet Buddha statue at the top of a scenic mountain near the historic Baba Jethaurnath Temple.

Developed in collaboration with the Bihar Tourism Department, 90% of ownership and revenue will go directly to Bihar Tourism, ensuring benefits reach the state and its people.

  • Employment Generation — Direct and indirect jobs for local artisans, guides, and hospitality.
  • Tourism Development — Increased footfall boosts homestays, restaurants, and transport.
  • Cultural Preservation — Promotion of Bihar's Buddhist heritage and craftsmanship.
  • Community Upliftment — Revenue supports local infrastructure, education, and livelihoods.
  • Environmental Harmony — Eco-friendly construction and green landscaping throughout.
Initiative 02 — Environmental Sustainability & Ecosystem Revival

Ecosystem Revival &
Environmental Sustainability

At Bodhivigyan Foundation, we believe that the environment is not just a resource — it's the foundation of all life. Our mission is to restore balance to nature while empowering communities to become guardians of their surroundings.

We aim to conduct large-scale tree plantation drives that enhance green cover, reduce carbon footprints, and strengthen climate resilience. A key part of our vision is to revive small rivers, ponds, and traditional water bodies, ensuring water returns to the heart of rural life.

Initiative 03 — Education & Youth Empowerment

Empowering the
Next Generation

At Bodhivigyan Foundation, we believe that true empowerment begins with knowledge — knowledge that inspires curiosity, builds confidence, and nurtures values.

Our goal is to support government primary and secondary schools by providing books, notebooks, pens, and school bags, ensuring every child has the opportunity to study with dignity and hope.

Beyond material support, our focus is on inclusive education — ensuring underprivileged and rural children have equal access to quality learning environments. We also design life-skill programs that instill sustainability, cultural pride, and environmental responsibility.

  • Books, notebooks, pens, and school bags for government schools.
  • Inclusive education for underprivileged and rural children.
  • Life-skill programs for sustainability and cultural pride.
  • Collaboration with teachers, volunteers, and local communities.
Future Vision — Healthcare (Long-Term)

Future Expansion:
Healthcare

Once the organization achieves financial sustainability, our next major focus will be free primary healthcare services for marginalized and rural populations who lack access to basic medical facilities.

Our vision includes setting up mobile health units, organizing health awareness camps, and collaborating with local authorities to deliver essential medical care directly to villages and remote areas.

Beyond treatment, our approach emphasizes prevention and awareness — promoting nutrition, hygiene, mental well-being, maternal health, and preventive care. Bodhivigyan's healthcare vision is to cultivate a culture of wellness for every individual regardless of economic background.
